Aerial Silks - Improvers+

This class is suitable for Improvers+. Students should have a good understanding of Aerial silks, and be able to perform all the basic moves at height and without instruction. Ability to invert in the air, hip lock and straddle climb are essential. An understanding of front and back balance would be beneficial. This class is not suitable for beginners. Aerial Silks involves two lengths of fabric rigged from the ceiling. Starting off with a variety of climbs to build your strength and get you off the ground, the moves progress into wrapping and manoeuvring your body around (and upside down) the silks to pull off some photo-worthy moves. The more adventurous aerialist would also work towards drops from a height.
