The word contortion can often seem intimidating, when in reality it’s a fun and rewarding form of flexibility training, that can then be built up to produce contorted movements in your routines. During these contortion classes you will be learning some of the basics of contortion and handstands, including bridges/backends, splits, walkovers and chest stands. When learning contortion your instructors will make sure to prioritise your wellbeing, teaching you how to train your body safely and effectively. As well as being physically rewarding, contortion classes are ideal to take alongside any of our other courses, as many of the skills developed through learning contortion can be transferred to other aerial and floor-based disciplines.
